George A. Keene, Inc. was formed in 1947 and is a leader in detention equipment installation, repair and maintenance, driven by four generations of legacy, experience and relationships.
Grant Keene, President
Grant Keene brings over 20 years of experience in the field to the company. Grant originally began working with his father, Ray, in the field where he honed his skills as an ironworker. Grant's knowledge of detention equipment continued to grow as he worked on a wide variety of projects across the region. Grant is in charge of overseeing the office, managing upcoming and current projects to ensure they stay on track and are completed in a timely manner. Grant's experience plays a key role in the high quality of work provided by Keene and he has been instrumental in the company's continuing growth. He has been a recognized member of the “Associated Locksmiths of America, Inc.” since 1984. He also holds certificates from Airteq Systems, Midwest Detention, Southern Folger, RR Brinks and OSHA, just to name a few.

Raymond Keene, Senior Advisor
Raymond Keene has more than a half century of experience in the prison and detention industry including 40 years of actively working in the field on a wide array of projects, from new construction and installations to rebuilds and rehabilitation. Today as Senior Advisor, Ray is responsible for all operations of the company including keeping track of work being performed in the field. He brings this unique combination of field experience and management expertise to his role to help ensure that every job is done right. Ray also has an in-depth knowledge of the many detention equipment products available and used by Keene, including Stewart, Southern Folger, Kane Manufacturing, RR Brinks, Trussbilt to name a few. This knowledge enables him to provide the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for client needs.
Paul Nyznyk, Project Manager
Paul Nyznyk is project manager for George A. Keene, Inc. and has been with the company for a number of years. After receiving his degree in Building Management and Maintenance Technologies, Paul joined the Keene team as a Project Manager. Paul is responsible for planning, procurements and management involving current and upcoming projects. Paul has previous experience in mechanical systems, builder's hardware and commercial construction. He currently holds numerous certificates including Southern Folger, Airteq systems and OSHA. Paul plays an integral role in the company and growth he is also a significant manager in the day-to-day operations.
Kent Brink, Project Manager
Kent Brink is another project manager that works hand and hand with Ray, Grant, and Paul. Kent graduated in May of 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University at Buffalo and holds an associate’s degree in Business Administration. After working construction with his father for nearly a decade he brings a vast knowledge of the industry to the table. In the day to day operations he helps with all aspects of current and upcoming projects, aiding in prospecting, estimating, and installation of various products. After attending Southern Steel’s school he has become our qualified manager for Folger Adams product lines. Furthermore he works along with the business development manager to increase productivity and expand the business.
Ryan Conroy, VP of Sales
Ryan Conroy has recently joined the George A. Keene team. Ryan brings a 4-year record success overseeing all phases of detention equipment projects. His experience includes: prospecting, estimating, bidding, closing sales, buyouts, scheduling, billing, and coordination with suppliers, subcontractors, field employees, GC’s and other trades. Backed by strong credentials and a proven history of on time, on-budget and high-quality project completions.
